The book of Proverbs reveals the sign of true spiritual maturity: a daily walk that is pleasing to God, according to His works and decisions. Among its authors we find Solomon, Agur, and Lemuel who also give a prophetic message.

Proverbs are one- or two-phrase judgments in which a portion of God’s wisdom is summarized. The Lord desires that they be inscribed in our hearts and produce eternal fruit. Each one represents an impacting and profound message that leads us to be wise, that is, to be those who know God’s law and His ways. In this course, we will study this book in light of the four faces of God’s glory—man, lion, ox, and eagle—which are also revealed in the four gospels.
