Biblical Geography – 2013
How do we imagine the land of Israel? As a land with many volcanoes and valleys? If we saw a photograph of Mount Sinai, we may think that it doesn’t look much like a mountain—it’s only a hill! In this course, we will embark on a study of biblical places. With it, we will have a better understanding of Scriptures as well as of the principles that apply to our life but are difficult to understand without a knowledge of biblical geography. As we study mountains, valleys, rivers, peninsulas, and others, we will study the biblical context and the messages and lessons that relate to our daily Christian life. The study of biblical geography will be a useful tool for the Bible student and a key message for the spiritual development of each Christian.
