Christian Conduct Series Part 2 – 2012
English “dubbed”
8 Lessons
When we begin our Christian walk, we are unaware of many areas in our lifestyle that are not in conformance with God’s vision for our lives. Nevertheless, as we deepen our relationship with God, He shows us aspects of our life that must be changed and must follow the divine pattern.
Currently, God’s people are facing a time of great ignorance of the biblical principles that have governed the Church from its foundation. A series of rules have been established that accommodate the modern world and cultural changes—rules which have often meant turning away from the ancient path and embracing the world’s standards.
This series of teachings on Christian conduct is an invitation to God’s people to redirect their steps to biblical principles and remember the way that leads to life: the cross.
The teachings will confront Christians with questions such as:
· May a Christian eat blood?
· Does television affect my spirit?
· Is it necessary to read the Bible more than once in my life?
· Does being a Christian affect the way I should dress?
· Should I read informational newspapers or magazines?
· What lies behind the drums and modern “Christian” music?
· Why should I submit to a pastor?
· Makeup, jewelry, long hair, mustaches—should they be allowed?
· Is there such a thing as Christian courtship?
Returning to the way of the cross will equip us to finish with God’s approval and favor. Will we be willing to renounce our way of thinking and surrender to God’s opinion?
