As Christians, we must understand God’s plan for his people in the areas of courtship and betrothal. This topic involves one of life’s greatest passions: the attraction between opposite sexes. The correct understanding and handling of this area will, to a certain extent, determine our future and eternal destiny.

The natural attraction that exits between man and woman is a shadow that reveals the Lord’s divine attraction to His wife, the Church. But today, the Church has gone astray from the divine way of handling this attraction. Sadly, there is currently no difference between the courtship in the world and in the church; this has caused many to end in failure. The reason for this failure is that the foundation for any happy marriage lies in its prior courtship and betrothal. We invite you to follow this study and receive the necessary understanding of the biblical principles established for couples interested in joining in marriage.
