Virginia Seminar – 5 Lessons

The apostle Paul wrote, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Many Christians may be able to cite this verse, but many are unfamiliar with the statement that follows: “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit.”

The Spirit of God has clearly revealed God’s eternal plan for humanity in the Bible. During this seminar we will consider these Scriptures.

Some people may ask, “Why do we need to know these things?”

God says that having a vision will cause us to run (Habakkuk 2:2). If we see what awaits us and “the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18), it is more likely that we will seek the Lord to obtain the necessary grace to finish our race in this life with His approval. Furthermore, if we understand how God wants to use us eternally, it will be easier for us to surrender to His Spirit and allow Him to prepare us for the ministry and the position that we will hold eternally.
