Ministerial Ethics

Ministerial ethics means “the character of a minister” and is the set of Scriptural norms that govern Christian ministers in their motives and actions. They determine a minister’s conduct toward God, his family, his church, his denomination, and the different Christian institutions. In this course, we will dedicate our study to the fundamental ethical code that a minister should know, accept, and live in order to maintain a healthy spiritual state within his church both as an individual, and as a church group.

The Early Church was governed by an ethical code in the ministry (Paul’s epistles). With the intention of maintaining pastoral unity, avoiding eternal harm in church members’ souls, and guarding the flock against predatory wolves, we will study the guide according to which a pastor should walk and live.
