Psalms – 2013
The book of Psalms is the most cited book of the New Testament. This collection of hymns and songs by multiple authors has praise as its main purpose. This book contains diverse expressions, experiences, and poems by God’s worshippers, all of which describe failures, frustrations, pain, and sadness, but also happiness, joy, and comfort; misery and poverty, but also majesty and splendor. In this course we will focus our study on the Kingdom of God and the life of the king of Israel whose heart was conformed to the Lord’s heart: the psalmist David. Studying this book will teach us important lessons about God’s heart, and we hope that it will also produce in us a greater and growing desire to spend more time with our Lord Jesus Christ.
