In the Bible, a river is a symbol of life. God has His river that produces eternal life in us when we drink from it. Satan also has his river (his life), which, though appearing to give life, truly only imparts death and holds this world’s ideas, ways, conduct, and lifestyle.

As we have learned, the beginning and the end are the same. That is, history repeats itself. From the beginning, the enemy ordered that all the children of Israel be destroyed and thrown into Egypt’s river. Currently, the enemy seeks to destroy the godly seed, ordering its destruction by throwing it into the river of this world.

If we were to live in the days of Pharaoh, would we be among the parents who throw their children into the Nile? Most people would probably think they would not be. But in reality, many are already doing so. In which river will you and your children end your lives? How are your children being exposed to this world?
