The Kingdom of God – 2012
What is the reason for Jesus exhorting “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”? Is it possible that we do not have all that we need because we are not seeking the Kingdom? Could it be that we are not seeking the Kingdom because we do not understand how to seek it? Why did Jesus utilize 40 days with His disciples after His resurrection speaking only over things related to the Kingdom of God (Acts 1:3)? Is the Kingdom of God being emphasized in the Church of today so much as Christ emphasized it in His teaching and ministry (Matthew 4:23) Are we preaching and revealing the Kingdom in the Church today? If not, what must we do? Who will be kings and priests with Christ in His eternal Kingdom? Are there some requirements?
When Christ began His ministry on earth, His message was “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). Today, while we get closer to the time of the Second Coming, this same message of the Spirit will be heard because it is time to enter into His Kingdom. Paul taught the church: “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God”. Because the Kingdom will be established soon on earth in a literal form, what must we await to confront? How will we live in the Kingdom? In what form must we prepare to be part of His Kingdom? In this seminar about the “Kingdom of God” we will see the biblical answers to these questions and many more. We will also learn why the Kingdom is so important and how to seek it, enter in it and reveal it.
