Jesus’ life and walk on this earth can be studied from different angles. One of these is from the historic perspective that covers the events in the past that had an impact on many people who lived in His days. Though this way of examining the Lord’s life has its benefits, our purpose in this course is to study His life as a future revelation, that is, as the kind of life that He wants to impart and form in us.

In the first part of this study, we will learn about the lives of Jesus’ parents and of the people who were blessed during his first coming, as well as the events and experiences that are a pattern of what God wants to do with believers.

For this study, we need the Holy Spirit’s light so that our spiritual eyes are opened and we may receive the conviction that Christ is our pattern for life, our example, and what God desires to reproduce in us for His glory. We invite you to pray, as you follow this course, “Lord, open my eyes, enlighten my heart through your Holy Spirit, that I may know what you have for my life.”
