Women of the New Testament – 2011

“Consecutive Translation”

7 Lessons

Between the last Old Testament woman and the first New Testament woman, there is a lapse of approximately 700 years, a period of time in which there was both a natural and a spiritual change. With the birth of Christ, a new age began, and New Testament women seem to be less emphasized—few details are given about their lives. Nevertheless, we will study what is known about each one of them and will focus our study on the role of women as wives, in such a way that women will be instructed and men will better understand them.

Among the women we will study are Anna, Elizabeth, Mary the mother of Jesus, Joanna, Susanna, Salome, Martha, Mary Magdalene, Sapphira, Dorcas, Lydia, Priscilla, Phebe, Eunice and Lois. We hope this will be an opportunity for men and women to better understand the place to which the Lord has called women and the keys to reaching His pleasure in that area.
